An evaluator is the individual qualified to assess the performance of a candidate.

Types of Evaluators

Scenario Evaluators are typically instructors who assess performance measures that require completion of a Credentialing Achievement Record (CAR)—a checklist used to verify that required skills and competencies have been successfully demonstrated.

Scenario Evaluators may also evaluate the following Machining discipline credentials:

• Job Planning, Benchwork, and Layout

• CNC Lathe Operations

• CNC Mill Operation

Project Evaluators are individuals who are actively employed in the manufacturing industry or instructors who have earned the NIMS Quality Inspector credential.
