This workshop provides instructors and trainers with the knowledge they need to implement OJT training programs at their own companies. Attendees have the opportunity to become NIMS-certified OJT Trainers.
In this five-day workshop, participants will gain a working knowledge about NIMS credentialing and program accreditation, learn best practices for aligning curriculum with industry-recognized NIMS standards and credentials, and earn NIMS Machining Level I credentials.
In this three-day workshop, instructors and trainers will gain insight into the new NIMS Level I ITM credentials and how to incorporate these credentials into their curriculum. The training will include sample lesson plans, details on equipment needed to validate these credentials, and the opportunity to earn two or more NIMS ITM Level I credentials.
This workshop covers the applications of GD&T, based on ASME Y14.5-2009. NIMS performance parts are processed according to their geometric controls. It is designed to enhance attendees’ current knowledge and understanding of GD&T principles and practices, and is intended to be a train-the-trainer activity. Participants will learn how to effectively use GD&T in their training programs.
