Do instructors/trainers need to earn NIMS credentials first?

No. Students/trainees can start testing any time.

Do you have to earn NIMS credentials in a specific order?

No. You can earn any credential any time as long as you have access to the right equipment and personnel (i.e. account administrators, etc.).

No. Accreditation is 100% optional.

How do I earn the Industrial Technology Maintenance (ITM) Level I credential?

NIMS does not offer an ITM Level I credential. NIMS has an ITM Level I Skill Standard and offers nine (9) different credentials based on that standard.

To view your candidates, you must log in as an account administrator, and go to the Testing Center.

How do I get a NIMS patch?

Candidates and account administrators can login and use the Patch Order Form found on the Home page in the Testing Center (bottom of the page).

How do I get copies of the NIMS credentials I have earned?

Candidates can login and choose Testing Center, then click on My Credentials page to access color PDF files for all credentials earned.
